Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
1. Basic Policy
Data Sense Quiz handles information only as needed to provide the app, respond to inquiries, and improve quality. The developer does not issue independent user accounts or collect play history through a developer-operated server.
2. Information Stored on Device
The app may store question count, time limit, difficulty, display settings, review and progress information, unused question pools, and support counts on the device. An e-Stat App ID entered by the user is stored in the device Keychain. This information is used for app operation and convenience.
3. Use of the e-Stat API
If the user sets an e-Stat App ID, the app sends requests from the user's device to the e-Stat API to retrieve statistics data. Those requests include the App ID and parameters needed to fetch statistics tables. Handling by e-Stat follows that service's own terms and policies.
4. Ads and Consent Management
For free users, the app uses Google Mobile Ads to display ads. Depending on region and device state, the app may show ad consent and privacy options through Google User Messaging Platform. Ad providers may handle advertising identifiers, device information, and information about ad views or interactions. On iOS, the app requests permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to show more relevant ads and measure advertising effectiveness. If permission is denied, the app can still request ads without sending the advertising identifier. The ATT choice can be changed later in iOS Settings. When Premium Membership is active, the app does not request ads or show the ad consent or ATT permission flows.
4.1. Subscription
Apple StoreKit handles Premium Membership purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and entitlement verification. Apple processes payment information; the developer does not receive credit card numbers or similar payment credentials.
5. Operation Analytics
The app may use Firebase Analytics to improve quality. Custom events added by the developer handle operation IDs for buttons, sharing, disclosure open/close actions, setting selections, screen state, play settings, and locale. These custom events do not send directly identifying information or free-form text such as names, email addresses, e-Stat App IDs, answer contents, support message bodies, or Game Center player names. Firebase Analytics may also process SDK-managed automatic events such as app opens and sessions.
6. Game Center
Online matches, rankings, and score submissions use Apple's Game Center. Sign-in state, player names, matchmaking, rankings, and scores are processed through Apple's systems.
7. Contact Forms and Email
Information sent through the contact form or email, including message contents, reply addresses, contact details, and app or device context included in the inquiry, is used to respond to inquiries, investigate issues, and improve quality. If Google Forms is used, submitted contents are processed by Google's service.
8. Third-Party Sharing
Inquiry contents are not sold or provided to third parties except when required by law, with the user's consent, or as necessary to provide external services.
9. Retention and Deletion
Information stored on the device may be deleted by deleting the app or through device settings. Inquiry contents are retained for the period needed for response and recordkeeping, then deleted or organized when no longer needed.
10. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated due to app feature changes, external service changes, legal compliance, or similar reasons. Important changes will be announced on this page.
